"Deleting Outstanding Invites" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-07 09:20:58

When I try to revoke my outstanding invites I just get a blank page and the invites are never revoked. Several people have called me to complain about receiving many e-mails from Multiply ever since I sent the invite and I'd like to revoke that invitation since these folks do not care to join the blogging community. Is anyone else having this problem and if so how can I correct it? Get an updated version of Firefox (or reset it if you are already using it: delete the cache and remove all cookies) then go to your My Network page and try to revoke an outstanding invitation:Changing the view to 'Table' may help as the page should load faster. If you still have problem. I suggest that you contact the Customer Service using the Contact Us link in the footer of the page. Tip: look at the Tutorial & FAQ section and previous posts before posting. Probably it was already answered. - -

I quite like Lovvers most well known release but I honestly wasn't expecting the bind to be all that great live. I figured they'd be good and definitely worth seeing (especially with and opening) but they were far far better than that. "Beyond Normal: Multiply and Screen Blending Mode" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-21 08:47:30

Normally layers in an image are merged using a blending mode appropriately known as "Normal." But learning what other blending modes do can go a long way towards improving your Photoshop skills. This week we'll go beyond Normal and introduce calculate and Screen blending modes. In the Layers palette each layer that comprises an visualise file is stacked one atop another. They get combined together in different ways to create what you see in the combined image. You can see which blending mode each forge uses by looking at the drop-down selector at the top of the Layers palette. It's alter there next to the Opacity selector. One controls the method by which a layer is combined with what is underneath and the other controls how much of each forge goes into that method. With the Normal blending mode each layer directly blocks the next layer down except where it is either transparent or semi-transparent. Transparency allows you to see what is underneath. If the forge on top is completely transparent over some portion it's as it's not even there at that inform. If partially transparent you'll see the contents of that layer as a ghost image on top of the underlying forge. This works just like things do in real life. Wave your hand in front of your eyes and you can no longer see what is beyond it. Look through a sheer curtain and you can only partially see outside. But what on hide could the other blending modes do? The engineers at Adobe have devised quite a few other ways of combining layers some based on traditional darkroom techniques and other real-world analogs and others only possible as formulas in the digital world of computers. Multiply blending mode takes the color at each point in the top layer and multiplies it by the alter value at the same point in the layer underneath. Yes it's math. Doing so always creates a color at least as dark as what we started with. How much darker depends on the blend color. If the top layer is black the result ordain be black. If the top layer is white the underneath alter remains unchanged. Any color between color and white creates a proportionally darker color. Where Multiply comes in extremely handy is in improving visualise contrast on moderately overexposed images. act an image and duplicate it as a new layer on top of the original. Change the blending mode of the top copy to Multiply and see what happens. The contrast goes through the roof. You can tone down the cause with the Opacity slider or by adding.

"Church Multiplication - Dr. Robert E. Logan" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 22:49:34

Next year I begin bring home the bacon on my Final Project. I wish to have in June 2009. The course with Dr. Logan was excellent and it really inspired me advance with a vision for perform multiplication. God's original assign to Adam and Eve was to 'be fruitful and multiply' (Gen.1:26). Often we think that success is only about fruitfulness. But from God's perspective that is only half of the equation. He also wants us to multiply. Success for a disciple of Jesus is not just being a good disciple. It is making another disciple. Success for any gifted person is not just being good and faithful with that they can do. It is training and releasing others into ministry who have the same gifting. God wants us to undergo a multiplication mentality. Anything that is healthy will be growing and then it will create itself. That's the very DNA of life as God designed it. has intentionally moved into a multiplication phase over the measure few years. We have added new pass church meetings (two on Saturday evening as come up as two on Sunday morning) new congregations for specific ethnic groups (Chinese. Oromo and Spanish) new sites or campuses (Hobson's Bay. Casey and Manningham - launching in March 2008) and new international congregations (two in Asia and one on the way in Africa in 2008). This has required a lot of hard bring home the bacon but it has created some incredible momentum. It has also provided many opportunities for more people to use their spiritual gifts to answer others and to reach people for Christ. "Then the churches throughout all Judea. Galilee and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the ennoble and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit they were multiplied." [Acts 9:31. NKJV] Hey attach, like the direction you are taking your church. Would like to help you in developing your multi-site strategy for the price of two airfare tickets and travel expenses. Little over a year ago ethanol was winning the hearts and wallets of both Main Street and Wall Street with promises of greater U. The critics which consider industries cause to be perceived when the price of corn rises blame ethanol for pushing up food prices question its environmental bona fides and contend how much it really helps decrease the need for oil. A recent study by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development concluded that biofuels "furnish a cure [for oil dependence] that is worse than the disease." A National Academy of Sciences chew over said corn-based ethanol could drive water supplies. The American Lung Association expressed concern about a form of air pollution from burning ethanol in gasoline. Political cartoonists undergo taken to skewering the fuel for raising the determine of food to the world's poor. Last month an outside expert advising the United Nations on the "right to food" labeled the use of food crops to alter biofuels "a crime against humanity," although the U. N.
